Subex Ltd, a leading global provider of business support systems (BSS) for communications service providers, has secured a $6.62 million (₹54.95 crore) contract from a top telecom operator in the Netherlands to deliver a converged platform for MVNO billing and wholesale partner settlement.
The deal, announced on Thursday, October 9, 2025, extends Subex’s longstanding relationship with the operator across Routing, Interconnect, OTT, SMS, DCB, and wholesale billing services. The contract spans six years, with an option to extend for an additional two years, subject to a commercial revision.
Under this program, Subex will provide end-to-end managed services hosted from its UK datacenter, consolidating the operator’s wholesale products into a single billing, rating, and reporting platform. The platform is designed to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain 99% SLA compliance, ensuring smooth service delivery for multiple mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) leveraging the operator’s national footprint.
The Netherlands operator, which holds a strategically significant wholesale network, is actively expanding national network coverage with high-speed broadband, aiming to enhance service delivery and drive operational efficiency across its platform. By converging billing and partner settlement under 100% managed services, the initiative is expected to simplify processes, improve consistency, and achieve significant cost reduction.
Commenting on the development, Nisha Dutt, MD and CEO of Subex, said,
“Wholesale monetisation demands convergence, not complexity. With a single platform for MVNO billing and partner settlement delivered as managed services, we’re aligning technology, operations, and governance to accelerate time-to-value for one of the Netherlands’ most influential operators.”
This contract reinforces Subex’s position as a trusted partner for telecom operators globally, showcasing the company’s ability to deliver robust, integrated BSS solutions that drive efficiency and scalability for modern telecom ecosystems.
