In one of the most expensiveresidential propertydeals in the country, Radha Girish Tanti, wife ofGirish Tanti, vice chairman ofSuzlon Energy, has bought a 7,139 sq ft property in the Worli area of Mumbai fromRavi Raheja, group president at Mumbai-based K Raheja group, for Rs 123.51 crore.
The apartment has 6,772.28 sq ft carpet area and 367.05 sq ft balcony area and has been transacted at Rs 1,73,000 per sq ft.
Stamp duty and registration details
The buyer has paid a stamp duty of Rs 6.17 crore for the transaction, according to data accessed through CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm. The property has six car parkings. The property is located in Artesia on Hind Cycle Marg in Worli.
Mails sent to Suzlon group and K Raheja did not elicit any response.
Worli’s string of big-ticket deals
Worli area has seen a number of high value residential deals last year. In May 2025, Leena Gandhi Tewari, chairperson of pharmaceutical firm USV, bought a sea-facing duplex in the area for Rs 639 crore, marking India’s second-costliest residential deal at Rs 2,83,000 per sq ft.
During the same month, banker Uday Kotak bought eight apartments in 19 Shiv Sagar — a three-storey property in Worli – for Rs 131.55 crore. One of the properties was bought at a rate of Rs 2,89,000 per sq ft, according to reports. Earlier last year, Kotak had bought 12 apartments in the same complex for Rs 201 crore.
